The project was commissioned by the Ufficio EBA (Office for the Elimination of Architectural Barriers) of Venice on the occasion of the Biennial of Art 2007, with the goal of raising awareness on the theme of accessibility in Venice.
The project entailed the covering of the surfaces of a provisional ramp, which is constructed each year for this and similar occasions in order to allow people with disabilities to access the events. The project has become a vehicle of information on the policy and the results obtained by the EBA regarding the topic of accessibility in Venice.
