The masterplan encompasses the requalification of the area occupied by a winery situated on a hill on the outskirts of San Casciano Val di Pesa in Chianti.
With the winery relocating to new premises, the proposal is to build a residential and commercial development that will preserve the history of the place by introducing the image of a Tuscan hilltop village. The new architecture will be shaped through both artificial and natural forms, using traditional Tuscan materials to reconnect the new landscape with the village, and the apartments and villas will take advantage of the exceptional panoramic views. The project also includes the restoration of the old cantina, numerous commercial activities and a preschool.
