The scholar area in Prato houses 4 superior institutes and about 3.500 students. 4 Areas are defined: a parking area, a pedestrian and bicycle area, a green area and a sporting area. The parking area is reorganised en adapted at the actual urban traffic flow, the pedestrian and bicycle area connects all entrance zones without interruption, creating small squares with characteristic furniture integrated in the existing railings. The areas in between the scholar buildings are developed as natural gardens and meeting areas to use between the classes.
