The main objective is to return to the connection between the city and the sea, which in this area has been lost. The project transforms the old utilitarian port centrality into a contemporan purpose, based on the enhancement of receptivity and the congestion of functions, ensuring the existing 'craft of the sea' on one hand and the introduction of culture and leisure on the other. Only in this way the current lack of the particular identity of this port area can be resolved.
