IThe project has a double utility: a ‘slow’ walking path between the park and the city centre across the railways, and a ‘fast’ connection between the station, the railway tracks and the large parking beside. This determinates the bridge design: two separated paths get together in the centre and become a small square to wait for the trains. Along the bridge ‘natural wings’ ideally bring the park into the centre, in the same time the wings cover the security area of the railway high tension. The ramp at the centre side houses a two-level parking for 500 bicycles.
